As a professional bowyer and bowmaking instructor, I have yet to own another wood carving tool as fine as my Bastionhead Original drawknives. I picked up both the 8” and 10” Originals several years ago, and they’ve since been used almost daily for reducing bow staves and carving bow blanks. Over the last year and a half I have purchased a refurbished draw knife and I had Tracey build a new one for me. I use them to build bows and have put them to work in some tough wood.
